Preservation of Documents – Legal Hold
iQwest Legal Hold (also known as “preservation orders” or “hold orders”) is designed to help manage electronic data that might be relevant to a legal matter. A company must preserve records (paper or electronic) when it learns of pending or imminent litigation. Legal Hold prevents spoliation (destruction, alteration or mutilation of evidence) on paper or electronically stored information (ESI) on the company or any of its employees.
